Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is still the second-youngest HC in the NFL, but somehow is feeling newly rejuvenated heading into the 2024 season. Sean McVay talked about his mentality recently, and overall, it spells nothing but trouble for the rest of the NFC heading into the 2024 NFL Season.

In 2023, the LA Rams surged toward the end of the year, scraped together 10 wins, and earned a Wild Card spot. Not only are they a safe bet to again make the postseason, but there are valid arguments for the Rams to even re-capture the NFC West in the 2024 season. Here's the 37-year-old McVay speaking recently:

"You know what is cool? Being around this group, and especially even last year, it feels like it is Year 1 again, and I really mean that.

I feel like these last couple of years, there has really just been a real renewed purpose and perspective that reminds you what a blessing this is. You kind of had lost that a little bit in the midst of the journey, especially things going well and then obviously, the challenging year in 2022.
There are a lot of cool things that have gone on with the people that I am around, the coaches, but having that little guy too is a real easy reason to keep appropriate perspective and to make sure you are being the man and the model and what it looks like for him every day."

Rams HC Sean McVay

Reports of McVay actually stepping away from coaching began to surface in the recent past, but it's clear that those have not only been put to bed, but were thrown off a cliff. McVay isn't yet 40 years old and could coach for another three decades if he wanted to. He's also quickly proven to be an elite mind and is a top-5 head coach in this league.

He helped the LA Rams capture the Super Bowl back in 2021, and now, just three years later, has assisted in rebuilding this team to make yet another Super Bowl run. The LA Rams organization is lucky to have McVay, and him feeling rejuvenated is just horrible news for the 15 other NFC teams.

Much of the Rams success in the 2024 season will hinge on the health of Matthew Stafford. If he can stay healthy, and if Father Time can continue to stay away, the Rams will be in business. One thing is for sure, though; Sean McVay is charged up and ready to run through a brick wall.
