With the start of a new season, and a complete reconstructed roster, there is a lot that LA Rams fans already know about this team. But would you believe after all of the hype and detailed off-season reports, that there are still some pleasant surprises in store for fans in the 2024 NFL season? After all, we can only project, forecast, and anticipate only so much.

Whether it's an unexpected resonance with the LA Rams roster, the coaching staff, the unceasing sunshine of Los Angeles, California, or simply a matter as random as being in the right place at the right time, some players who are new to the team are bound to exceed expectations. We could go on and on about those players who did so in 2023. But for a change, let's put some players in the spotlight before they show up and show off this year.

Of course, as is the case with any movie sneak preview, we should probably tell you right now that what you are about to read is a projection of those players who you may not expect to turn heads, raise eyebrows, or drop jaws, but whose past is such that they are in great position to have a superb season.

The team is not just an average run-of-the-mill NFL team in 2024. After limping to a record of 8-18 from 2022 through the middle of the 2023 NFL season, this team has flipped the switch and soared to a record of 7-2, with two losses coming on the road in the worst of conditions. But that flip of the switch was simply the coaching staff grasping the full talents of a new and young roster.

With those lessons in hand, the front office and coaching staff is equipped to take on the challenge of a new season. But unlike one year ago, this is not a roll of the dice. This is an educated strategic deployment of lessons learned and now amplified with the right players on the roster who fit the new parameters of the team for another playoff run.
