While the LA Rams are still striving to win games this season, there are some players who are delivering award-worthy performances along the way. In my opinion, there is nothing quite as thrilling in a regular-season football game than witnessing a rookie deliver an incredible performance, or even game, that makes the highlight reels.
In 2023, the LA Rams front office crushed the 2023 NFL Draft. The Rams arguably drafted the best rookie receiver, rookie edge rusher, rookie offensive lineman, rookie punter, and even rookie defensive lineman. Finding an NFL worthy nose tackle is not an easy task. That defensive lineman typically faces double teams, and seldom has the opportunity to get after opposing quarterbacks.
But rookie nose tackle Kobie Turner is cut from a different bolt of cloth. He is a scrappy and powerful defensive lineman who has been dominant all season long but has turned it up a notch recently. In Week 12, Kobie Turner put up four tackles, two quarterback hits, and 2.0 quarterback sacks. It was a performance that was so solid that Kobie Turner, a.k.a. The Conductor, has been nominated Pepsi Rookie of the Week:

But Week 12 was not the only performance for Turner worth noting. In the past three games, Turner has taken his game to the next level. Over that time, he has 18 tackles, 3.0 quarterback sacks, four quarterback hits, and three tackles for a loss.
The LA Rams made fans question the offseason strategy when the team allowed veteran nose tackle Greg Gaines to walk away via the NFL Free Agency market uncontested. But Turner has been an incredible rookie performer this season, and he will undoubtedly improve in 2024. So how can you, as a fan, vote for him this week?

The LA Rams roster already has two rookies who have earned Rookie of the Week honors in WR Puka Nacua and OLB Byron Young. It would be amazing if the Rams, a team with no first round picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, would have three Rookie of the Week award winners this season.
Best of all, all three have been very deserving of the honors.
