This LA Rams star has been downgraded to questionable for Week 15
By Bret Stuter
The LA Rams need to win in Week 15. Truth be told, the team can ill afford not to win each and every gmae that remains on the Rams schedule. At 6-7, the Rams would finish this season at a record of 10-7 by ending the 2023 NFL season with a four game winning streak.
But it's not going to be easy going for the Rams this season, it seems. The Rams roster suffered injuries to five players in Week 14. Now the team has more news on the injury front, and it's not good at all.
We have just learned today that All-Pro Aaron Donald is suffering from tightending in the groin, and has been downgraded to questionable for the LA Rams against the Washington Commanders in Week 15. The LA Rams depth chart is such that the team really cannot afford to play without Donald over the final four games on the schedule.
Even with the downgrade, the Rams expect Aaron Donald to suit up and play against the Commanders. But that is not to say that the team will be unaffected by the latest news. Since the Rams will need Donald to compete effectively through the rest of the season, you can reasonably expect the defensive line rotation to cycle Donald to the bench more rapidly than usual.
The Rams will likely get more snaps from NT Bobby Brown III and rookie Kobie Turner. The Rams will also try to push DL Larrell Murchison, Ernest Brown IV, Jonah Williams, and Desjuan Johnson for more snaps this week as well. If the problem lingers, the Rams could elevate DT Marquise Copeland or DT Cory Durden from the practice squad as well.
This is breaking news, and you should check back throughout the day to leavn of any updates should additional information be made available.
