Rams take a high-stake wager on this player's 2024 season.

It was clear from the players signed to the secondary by Rams GM Les Snead all had a penchant for ball-hawking skills. Whether the player was the rather familiar former Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars DB Darious Williams, or the rising star of former Washington Commanders superb safety Kamren Curl, the additions have flashed takeaway skills that the team hoped to nurture and amplify in their 2024 secondary.

But the grandaddy of them all was the addition of former Buffalo Bills defensive back Tre'Davious White, a two-time All-Pro cornerback who has never failed to get at least one interception for each season he has played in the NFL. And that is in spite of just playing four games in 2023.

No, Tre'Davious White is no superman. In fact, he is quite mortal. So mortal that he has played just 21 out of 51 games in the past three seasons due to injuries.

It was that injury history that put him into the 2024 NFL Free Agency market in the first place. He suffered a torn ACL in November 2021. That injury not only shut him down for the remainder of the 2021 NFL season, but limited his playing time in the following 2022 NFL season. While trying to reestablish himself in the Bills secondary from that injury setback, he suffered a torn Achilles Tendon in October 2023.

The Rams were not discouraged by White's injury history. And it was their enthusiasm and persistence that persuaded him to sign with the team:

Okay, that takes us to the point when Tre'Davious White landed on the Rams roster. So how has he been doing at Rams training camp so far?
