ROI for patience can yield remarkable results

Persons who recognize what's at stake and take it to heart step away to fully assess themselves concerning their commitment. Those persons who do not take it seriously simply spiral out of control, denying and lying to themselves as the opportunity is foolishly squandered. Bennett is more than back, he is rededicated to the NFL once again, perhaps better than ever.

And so far, he is getting praise from the coaches and observers.

The Rams have not hesitated to part ways with players who appear to be motivated by the wrong principles, or become disgruntled or disillusioned. That is absolutely not the case for this young Georgia quarterback. Rather, the team has gone the extra mile to respect whatever challenges he has faced, and welcomed him back with open arms.

Not only will the time away prove to be time well spent, but the way the Rams have handled this situation will pay off big dividends. Rather than sinking another draft pick into the position, the team held off patiently to see what they had in their existing quarterbacks. There is only one way to interpret the strategy of the front office to not address the quarterback position during and after the 2024 NFL Draft, and that is a complete and irrefutable conclusion that the team has complete confidence in Stetson Bennett, despite his absence in 2023.

Some believe that the best measure of a champion is one who never falters. I say that the opposite is true. No professional athlete can truly be a champion until they have been knocked down on multiple occasions throughout their careers, and continue to get back up and compete even harder as a result. The Rams young quarterback has been knocked down, and he is getting back up to compete even harder.

I expect good things to come from all of this. You needn't believe me just yet. Just be patient and see what happens. The return on the investment for that patience can be far better than you might imagine.

And as always, thank you so much for reading.
