(5) Winner - WR Jordan Whittington

For the first time in his young NFL career, rookie wide receiver Jordan Whittington caught six of eight passes for 62 receiving yards. He more than doubled his receptions and his receiving yards in one game. For a rookie who has been struggling to get offensive snaps and targets, he is making rapid progress.

While only putting up 112 yards, he has hauled in 11 of 13 targets, which is phenomenal for a rookie who is competing in the NFL against secondaries for the first time. Keep in mind that he was not targeted in Week 1. He was targeted twice in Week 2, three times in Week 3, and finally eight times in Week 4. With each new game, he has risen to the challenge.

Can he put up 100+ receiving yards in a game? I think so. But I don't think it happens in Week 5. And by the team he is capable of doing so, I expect that both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua will be back on the football field, garnering the Lion's share of targets. Still, Jordan Whittington is a solid addition to the team, and he showcased his talents by putting up his best performance against a stingy NFL secondary.

(4) Winner - DT Braden Fiske

There has been plenty of discussion over the contribution of rookie defensive tackle Braden Fiske. While he has been getting plenty of pressure on opposing quarterbacks, he had not yet recorded a quarterback sack. Well, that drought ended in Week 4, as Fiske not only recorded his first QB sack of the 2024 NFL season, but he has seven quarterback pressures on the season.

Fiske has been a solid contributor on the Rams defensive front. He delivers a little bit of everything, as he has 14 tackles, 1.0 quarterback sacks, seven QB pressures, one tackle for a loss, six quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. And best of all, he has accomplished all of that in just 177 defensive snaps.

Best of all, he will get better.

If I had to put a stake in the ground as to when Fiske finally earned flying status on the defense, Week 4 would be my conclusion. Fiske has been contributing prior to this game. But in Week 4, he proved to have the ability to make plays that can alter the outcome of games.

Unfortunately, Fiske's heroics did not alter the outcome of this one.
