So what is the latest NFL rumor, and should the Rams be interested?
The LA Rams have a proven track record for swinging for the fences when it comes to NFL rumors, and if the team was more successful but struggling in the passing game, then the latest NFL rumors about the availability of Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams would make sense. But these Rams are 1-3, not an ideal landing spot for a discontented veteran wide receiver.

Truth be told, this is Davante Adams second trade demand. Do the Rams really want to embrace that mindset in their locker room?

It's a real life situation that is readily glossed over by fantasy football-fueled fans who see a player only as a digital display of statistics. And yet, it's those same players who, at the instant historical performances are not replicated instantly on a player's new team, demand the player to be cut or traded.
That's not how this NFL works.
So let's list some reasons why this is not the right time nor the right move to make:
(4) - Rams passing offense is already solid
Of all aspects of the team right now, the aerial assault of this team is already humming at a pretty solid pace. After all, the team has not lost either WR Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua for the season. At some point, they will return. In the meantime, this offense is getting great stopgap production out of veteran WR Tutu Atwell, rookie WR Jordan Whittington, and others.
So is the plan to give up assets for a veteran WR who doesn't know the offense, to reinforce the only aspect of the team that is already operating at a playoff level?
Worst yet, what happens when Kupp and Nacua are healthy enough to return? By all accounts, that would be just about the time that fans could optimistically expect Adams to begin contributing to this offense. So Adams, a novice to the offense, instantly competes for targets with players who have incredible chemistry with Matthew Stafford. I don't think so.
