Which gifts do you like most about LA Rams RB Kyren Williams?
By Bret Stuter
If it's better to give than receive, then LA Rams second-year running back Kyren Williams has one up on all of us. After all, it's nearly impossible to ignore the fact that his ability to put up over 100 rushing yards against the stingiest NFL defenses has given this Rams offense a brand new identity.
This is not an LA Rams team that is so talented, so overwhelmingly better than other NFL teams, that there can be no thought given to how the Rams set up their playbook Rather, this is a team that must give careful consideration to slow down and counterpunch their opponents. Rather than go for the knockout blows early, the 2023 LA Rams offense must land body blows to the opposing defense by running the ball. Then, and only then, the Rams' full arsenal of offensive weapons can come online.
Kyren Williams is a red hot Rams rusher
To think that the LA Rams finally have a feature running back in second-year veteran Kyren Williams, who has broken the 1000 rushing yards barrier for the team. That is an accomplishment that has not been done since the Rams rode the powerful strides of RB Todd Gurley into the playoffs in 2018.
And he's not done yet.
Rams running back Kyren Williams is the runner up rusher in the NFL, piling on 1,057 yards and nine touchdowns so far this season. The thing is, he has gotten to that lofty ranking among NFL running backs despite playing four fewer games than other rushers.
Kyren Williams has given the 2023 LA Rams offense a brand new identity. So, which of his special gifts do you appreciate most this holiday season?
