Superstition, or fashion sense?

Do the clothes make the man? Well, perhaps not so much in 2024 for the LA Rams. You see, the team donned their Bone White jerseys for Week 2, a jersey in which the team has had remarkable success, and the results were disastrous. So much for the fashion sense of success. The Arizona Cardinals dismantled the Rams with ease. Let's hope for far different results in Week 3.

This week, the LA Rams have returned home to SoFi Stadium after two grueling and punishing road games. It was not just the travel that hurt the team's vigor, but the fact that the team has suffered multiple injuries to key players in each game played so far this season. As a result, the Rams are taking the football field without three of their primary offensive weapons, two of their starting offensive linemen, and two of their starting defensive backs.

And the injury report for the San Francisco 49ers is only slightly less alarming.

It's the classic 49ers vs. the Rams, a game that often ends up deciding the fate of the NFC Western Division and ultimately the NFC team that competes in the Super Bowl. But with the Rams at 0-2, and the 49ers at 1-1, a win is enough for Week 3.

So how will these two teams be garbed for this game?

49ers Gameday Uniforms

49ers Jerseys: Red jersey with white numbers
49ers Pants: Gold pants
49ers Shoes: White Shoes

Rams Gameday Uniforms

Rams Jerseys: Classic White jersey
Rams Pants: Royal Blue pants
Rams Shoes: White shoes

In terms of need, the home-field Rams certainly need this game much more. A start of 0-3 would be disastrous for the team, and may ultimately trigger far-reaching roster decisions. But an upset victory could flip the NFC playoff race on its ear. That would instantly make the 2024 NFL season very interesting indeed.

For the sake of the NFL, and the LA Rams, let's hope for a Rams victory. And as always, thatnks for reading.
