With the LA Rams (4-6) sitting out Thanksgiving Day, there is a risk that Rams fans may not have a clear purpose what the results of the three NFL games played today may mean for the Rams future. In fact, depending on whether you want the Rams to earn a berth in the NFL Playoffs, or want the Rams to hold their optimal spot to pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, your intentions may vastly differ from other fans.

Thanksgiving Day has long been celebrated with the traditional turkey dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce, apple cider, and pumpkin pie. And yet after the meal (or before the meal on the West Coast), family members gathered in front of the television to watch the NFL game or games scheduled on that day.

Traditions have changed over the years. Extended families who must set up TV trays and kids tables throughout the house to feed everyone has begun to fade away, replaced by smaller more intimate gatherings, or simply by dining out at a local restaurant. But the NFL has not faded away. Now, instead of two games, the NFL offers three contests for football fans.

On the schedule are three games that all have some bearing on the LA Rams, one way or another. So let's take a look and see what the NFL has in store for football fans today:

  1. Green Bay Packers (4-6) at Detroit Lions (8-2) (Gametime 9:30 am PT - FOX)
  2. Washington Commanders (4-7) at Dallas Cowboys (7-3) (Gametime 1:30 pm PT - CBS)
  3. San Francisco 49ers (7-3) at Seattle Seahawks (6-4) (Gametime 5:20 pm PT - NBC)

Now the question is, which team should LA Rams fans be rooting for?
