Rams have enough room for 2 different styles of rushers

In terms of size, RB Kyren Williams is 5-foot-9 and weighs all of 194 pounds. RB Royce Freeman, on the other hand, stands 6-foot-0 and weighs a robust 238 pounds. The two rushers have completely different styles of running the football.

It's clear that based on the type of usage each player has found in the Rams offense, veteran RB Darrell Henderson Jr. was signed specifically to assume the role vacated by Kyren Williams. If Williams is returning, the counter move for his return will likely be swapping out Henderson going forward.

That also raises an new topic which we will address later today. With 53 players currently on the LA Rams roster now, who will the Rams waive in order to make room for Kyren Williams return? Will the Rams also rearrange the practice squad as well?

Rams can run with Freeman

Plenty of changes in store for the LA Rams roster this week. But over the interim, the LA Rams have discovered that this team can run effectively with Royce Freeman as well, a punishing north-south rusher who can get the team the tough yards when the Rams offense needs to move the chains.

In the end, the LA Rams offense sustained injuries to both wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (shoulder), which should be very concerning to the Rams regarding long-term strategy. The LA Rams ran all day against the Arizona Cardinals in an impressive 26-9 victory earlier in the season. A solid rushing attack in Week 12 will not only help the Rams give both receivers a chance to heal a bit but is a solid strategy for winning the game against an NFC Western Division rival.
