It's Week 15, and that means another clash of the LA Rams vs. the San Francisco 49ers. By clash, I mean that both teams are likely to treat this game like a playoff game. After all, whichever team loses the game could be the one to watch the Wildcard Round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs from the comfort of their living rooms. Let's hope it's the 49ers who catch the Rams on TV.

It may test your imagination to read that the Rams are an entirely different team now. Yes, the Rams faced the 49ers in a wild come-from-behind victory in Week 3. But the team has gotten healthier, younger players have gotten better, and the team has found success late in the season.

A bit like 2023, to be sure.

But one year ago, both the Rams and 49ers met on the last game of the 2024 NFL season, both teams sat starters. Then backup quarterback Carson Wentz led the Rams JV squad to victory over a blend of 49ers starters and backups. It was that win, and the win in Week 3, that finds the Rams on a two-game winning streak against their NFC West Division rivals.

A rivalry that will never cease to surprise and entertain.

But an NFL rivalry has many hidden meanings. For two teams who play twice a season like the Rams and 49ers, it denotes a bit of familiarity. Right now, a rapidly heating up team like the Rams does not want to face a team that is desperate for a win, and knows the team in and out. Never fear, we are hear to point out the fact that the Rams roster is loaded with players who did not contribute to the Week 3 win.

There are many such players, so let's get right to it.
