Reason (3) - Both offenses played nearly flawless football
The thing with the Chiefs-Rams game is that the defenses on both teams were not hapless. For the Chiefs defense, they were able to record five quarterback sacks on QB Jared Goff in the game. For the Rams defense, they managed to sack QB Patrick Mahomes three times, but also managed to pick off three passes. While points seemed to appear on the scoreboard at a frantic pace, the defenses reminded NFL fans that they were still playing hard.
But in Week 14, neither the Bills or Rams defenses could make such a claim. Neither Bills QB Josh Allen or Rams QB Matthew Stafford was sacked in the game. Furthermore, neither Allen nor Stafford threw an interception. There were no fumbles in the game as well.
Rams-Bills is the first game in NFL history where both teams scored 40-or-more points and had zero turnovers

It was the fourth game in 2024 in which the Rams offensive line allowed no quarterback sacks in the game. And on every such occasion, the Rams have won those games. It's a simple fact. While it makes sense that a safe Stafford is a dangerous Stafford, the fact that this is now an undeniable trend for the team's offense continues to reinforce the belief among more and more fans that the team must continue to invest in the offensive line.
Since training camp, the team has lost IOLs Logan Bruss and Zach Thomas. And if no extensions are negotiated, the team stands to lose OTs Conor McDermott, Alaric Jackson and Joe Noteboom, as well as IOL Dylan McMahon. So the offensive line remains a group that should be addressed in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Be that as it may, we cannot gloss over the fact that the team's starting offensive line in Week 14: LT Alaric Jackson, LG Steve Avila, C Beaux Limmer, RG Kevin Dotson, and RT Rob Havenstein, played a huge part in the win. The Buffalo Bills had 29 quarterback sacks through 12 games before facing the Rams. They still have 29 quarterback sacks, only now it's through 13 games.
