After trying and failing to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles twice last season, the Los Angeles Rams must travel to Lincoln Financial Field for one more attempt to halt Philly's success.
But in the meantime, L.A.'s Week 3 opponent has built some momentum.
In fact, you could say that Philadelphia is now the NFL's version of a runaway train.
This is incredible

Eagles last 19 games:
W 20-17
W 24-20
W 40-22
W 55-23
W 28-22
W 22-10
W 20-13
W 41-7
L 33-36 (Hurts knocked out in Q1)
W 27-13
W 22-16
W 24-19
W 37-20
W 26-18
W 34-6
W 28-23
W 37-17
W 28-3
W 20-16
So, where does Los Angeles fit into that series of wins? Last January's playoff loss was by a score of 28-22. The Week 13 loss was by a score of 37-20. Now, the Rams must try, try again.
It won't be easy, but the constant pressure to win is against the home team in this one. The same goes for keeping such a streak alive.
It's a strange feeling for fans in Week 3. Amid plenty of respect for the upcoming opponent, there is the knowledge that L.A. has been trending in the right direction. After a shellacking in the regular season, the Rams fought through a blizzard to be quite competitive in the postseason showdown at Lincoln Financial Field.
And there are no blizzards to contend with this time.
NFL is overhyping the Eagles at the Rams' expense
Fueled by defiant rage, an overlooked team like the Rams often have a way of getting noticed with a furiously competitive effort.
On the other hand, teams that are anointed as elite just two games into a season are ripe for an upset.
No stopping the Birds. 🦅

Just saying.
Neither squad entering Week 3 is perfect. There are problems that must be corrected, and uncomfortable injuries that have played roles in altering rosters and the preparation. But, how serious is either team approaching the game?
It's almost impossible for the Eagles not to be overly confident in this one. After all, the NFL is touting the win streak to the point where it seems a foregone conclusion that victory is simply a matter of showing up for the game.
But one might suspect it's also fueling the opponent, too.
Some fans scoff at the reputation of bulletin-board material, claiming that professional athletes are paid enough and train hard enough not to be impacted by such things. Nothing is more effective on the football field than a player running on instincts and emotions.
Week 3 may pan out to be much closer than many expect. Los Angeles certainly has this showdown in its sights when it reformed the roster for 2025.
Now, it's simply a matter of sitting back and enjoying the show.
As always, thanks for reading.
