It's not an easy time for the LA Rams or Rams fans right now. Much like 2023, the team is teetering between a bad season or a rather miraculous appearance in the 2025 NFL Playoffs. The thing is, the next five games will ultimately decide the team's fate. All the while the Rams have not shown the grit and determination of one year ago. But that could all change in Week 14.

In terms of postseason impact, Week 14 may hold the lest negative connotations in the L column. AFC teams, as a rule, are only factored into the postseason tiebreakers in terms of the team's final record. Three remaining games on the schedule against NFC West Division rivals carry far more weight in terms of must win games.

But starting the season at 1-4 burned through much of the margin of error for this team. A loss, even to the red-hot superpowered Buffalo Bills, could put this team in hole of no escape.

And yet, there is a mysterious calm before the storm. The LA Rams roster has slowly but steadily gotten healthier. Players are arguably starting to congeal, coordinate, and communicate. The team, although still not putting together a solid effort in all three phases of the game, has been steadily improving. Will it be enough to hit the pause on the Bills juggernaut? We will soon find out.

Buffalo Bills Injuries

  • DT DeWayne Carter- Wrist - Questionable
  • WR Keon Coleman - Wrist - Questionable
  • OT Tylan Grable - Groin - Questionable
  • TE Dalton Kincaid - Knee - Questionable
  • TE Quinton Morris - Shoulder/Groin - Questionable

  • DE Dawuane Smootan Ramczyk (IR/PUP)
  • LB Baylon Spector
  • OT Travis Clayton
  • QB Shjane Buechel
  • T Tommy Doyle
  • T Dylan Grable

The Buffalo Bills roster offers fans plenty of reasons for optimism. Except for some players on IR, it appears that the Buffalo Bills (10-2) will field every player with a meaningful role with the team. That is significant, as the Bills are now in the home stretch and in hot pursuit of the Kansas City Chiefs (11-1) for the top-seed spot in the AFC Playoffs.

Rams Injuries

Here are the players listed in the Rams final injury report:

  • TE Tyler Higbee - Knee - Out
  • OL K.T. Leveston - Ankle - Out
  • OL Alaric Jackson - Foot - Questionable
  • OLB Jared Verse - Ankle - Questionable

If you were optimistic over the LA Rams finally seeing starting TE Tyler Higbee on the football field, you will need to wait one more week at a minimum. Neither Higbee or rookie offensive tackle K.T. Leveston will suit up to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

Newly signed free agent cornerback Emmanuel Forbes:

A bit more concerning is the persistent foot injury of starting left tackle Alaric Jackson for the second consecutive week. Perhaps a bit more surprising is the appearance of rookie outside linebacker Jared Verse, who tweaked his ankle in practice this week. Both starters are expected to play:

Win or lose, the Rams will have a quick turnaround after Week 14. The Rams will travel to San Francisco to face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15 on Thursday Night Football. That will put the team in heated competition in two football games in just five days. With two starters trying to fight through injuries against the Bills, that's a difficult ask.

As always, thank you for reading.
