If you want to look good on game day, that's one thing. But the driving motivation for the LA Rams right now is to win their third game. And the team is willing to do so, even if it means looking a bit less dressed-up to do it. That's right folks. It's back to the 'Bad to the Bone' look for the LA Rams. And if you have any superstitions about the NFL and the LA Rams, this could be music to your ears.
While I no longer track the Rams uniforms and compare that to the outcome of games, I can confirm that despite the lack of popularity with fans in terms of merchandise sales, the Bone White uniform is one of the most successful lines of apparel in the team's wardrobe options. It was the go-to color scheme in 2020, and by 2021, it was all the rage. But the team continued to introduce new colors and combinations, and the Bone White option was pushed to the back of the closet.
Well, we will see if that unpopular uniform has retained any of its good luck aura, because it's the uniform for the Rams on Week 8, and will be featured across the country on the nationally televised Thursday Night Football Game streamed on Amazon Prime.

It's a fitting uniform for Week 8. With so many NFL Rumors surrounding the team, it seems like a perfect opportunity to see Rams veteran WR Cooper Kupp play in the Bone White jersey and pants that he has made so famous in terms of NFL success.
In a typical week, Kupp might be targeted 10 to 20 times in a game. But in Week 8, I would not be the least bit surprised if quarterback Matthew Stafford throws to Kupp 25 times or more. Stafford has been in a slump of late, and Kupp's return is just the medicine to break that case of the doldrums.
The Rams schedule of Bone White in Week 8 means two things. The team is fully aware of the uncanny link of the Bone White uniform to past success. And the second thing is, the Rams are desperate enough for a win to take a chance with an unpopular uniform combination.
As always, thanks for reading.
