All he needs is a cape, as he even has an emblem on his chest . . .

When it comes to the Los Angeles Rams, it's hard to ignore the historic pattern of football players transitioning to become Hollywood stars and celebrities. There was a time when former Rams players like Rosie Grier, Merlin Olson, Fred Dryer, and more made the transition from gridiron to the silver screen, and the pattern never showed signs of slowing down.

Well, that pattern did change. Hollywood turned away from the NFL, and began to recruit more colorful and louder personalities from championship wrestling circles. From Andre the Giant, to Dwayne Johnson, to John Cena, the thirst for athleticism in the film industry has not abated. It's merely been rerouted to find talent elsewhere.

But one current Rams star is making a strong push to reverse that trend. You see, when you think about offensive linemen, you really can't put your finger on a player who stands out with personallty, swag, and personality. Well, not unless you consider Rams starting right guard, Kevin Dotson.

The King of Swag

From the moment the Rams pried him away from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dotson has made it a personal mission to reclaim Hollywood celebritism for the NFL, and so far, he's been running a masterful campaign.

Dotson is an offensive lineman, a group of NFL players who typically show up early for meetings, keep their heads low, and try to avoid the spotlight as much as possible. And that is for good reason, because hearing an offensive lineman's name during a game or in a post-game wrap-up invariably means poor performance, excessive penalties, or injury. And no offensive lineman wants that.

But Kevin Dotson is wired a bit differently. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 330 pounds, he has not only earned the starting job at right guard, but he has secured the position as one of the most effective offensive linemen on the team.

Best of all, he is having fun doing it. His flexing is not about claiming a spotlight intended for teammates. He brings a smoldering presence that sets the stage for younger teammates like Steve Avila, Kobie Turner, and even Jared Verse to have fun and stand out as well.

Veteran offensive lineman Kevin Dotson showed up at training camp looking like a superhero. And that means he is already locked in for a productive training camp. As always, thanks so much for reading.
