Video captures why LA Rams Stafford scoring smorgasbord proves he's still got it
By Bret Stuter
As you awaken to a new day, I thought that it was time for a change of pace type of article. After all, my 12-slide recap of 9 winners and 4 losers from Week 11 was a lot to digest in one sitting. If you want to revisit that article, by all means, do so now. The thing about the Rams' performance was not just the fact that the team won, nor in the way that the team had to hold on tightly to get the win.
There were simply many little things that the team either did or managed to overcome that made that victory a particularly savory and flavorful win.
So after a hearty feast of facts, figures, and analysis, what is better than a sweet treat of recapping the team's scores in Week 11? While the NFL legal team is very vigilant over striking down unlicensed use of video footage, I managed to stitch together X videos that summarize all four Rams TDs from sanctioned NFL license holders.
So away we go:
Stafford to Kupp for first TD
As has been the case in many games, the Rams offense and defense got off to slow starts. When the Rams turned to Cooper Kupp, they were trailing by seven points, and had already punted the ball back to the New England Patriots twice. Well, as cliche as it sounds, the third time truly was a charm, The offense needed just nine plays and 5:05 of game time to drive 80 yards of the football field for the score.
One of the most promising takeaways from this touchdown is that the Rams scored in the Red Zone, a feat that has stymied the offense all season. This score was a particularly well-designed play. WR Demarcus Robinson cleared the area out, and slot receiver Cooper Kupp rolled to the goal line, and turned to give Stafford a huge target.
The Rams made it look so easy.
