You will never guess what the Rams accomplished for the 1st time in 4 years

Rams OL is building something special
Considering the LA Rams conceivably can assemble a fairly young and accomplished offensive line when players return to health, the future OL could consist of:
- LT Alaric Jackson - 26 years old | 6-foot-7 | 345 pounds
- LG Steve Avila - 24 years old | 6-foot-3 | 338 pounds
- C Beaux Limmer - 23 years old | 6-foot-5 | 312 pounds
- RG Kevin Dotson - 28 years old | 6-foot-4 | 330 pounds
- *RT Rob Havenstein - 32 years old | 6-foot-8 | 323 pounds
At some point, the team will need to shop for a young successor to Rob Havenstein, as well has make a decision about the long-term future of left tackle. I love Alaric Jackson there, and he has certainly anchored the role well since returning from injury. But if the team was convinced that he was the best option, they failed to demonstrate it by offering him only a one-year contract.
If the team successfully extends Jackson, that anchors the left side of the offensive line for several years.
On the right side of the offensive line, matters are less clear. An injury-plagued veteran Kevin Dotson has struggled a bit so far in 2024. And veteran RT Rob Havenstein is showing some wear and tear in 2024 as well. Of course, both players can course correct as the season progresses simply by healing and playing at their potential
Another question is what does the future hold for veteran IOL Jonah Jackson, a free agent interior offensive lineman signed to take over for Coleman Shelton in 2024. Jackson, much like swing tackle Joe Noteboom, can put up quality snaps on the football field, but struggles to remain healthy in the process.
The Rams have been quite patient with IOL Logan Bruss. But after healing and rehabbing for two years, Bruss finally has the chance to suit up and start in 2024. Unfortunately, his debut has not been overly impressive. In fact, in 195 offensive snaps, Bruss has surrendered two QB sacks and appears to struggle mightily at times.
