You will never guess what the Rams accomplished for the 1st time in 4 years

Rams OL simply needs a quality succession plan to be elite
The Rams depth chart at the offensive tackle position shows that the team is currently banking on the performance of OTs Warren McClendon Jr. and Geron Christian. While only in his second season with the Rams, McClendon has not show enough when stepping up for injured teammates so far this season. Christian is a veteran, but his career has been that of a backup offensive tackle, and he may simply be keeping the seat warm for the team until backup swing-tackle Joe Noteboom heals up and returns.
And then there are two other offensive tackles on Injured Reserve: Rookie OT K.T. Leveston (24 years old) and veteran Connor McDermott (31 years old). Leveston has been injured, which has hampered his rookie development. That has prevented him from showcasing to coaches and fans where he currently falls on the spectrum of NFL readiness.
McDermott, much like Geron Christian, has had mixed results as a backup in the NFL.
For the team's future, they need to ensure that the talent pipeline for offensive tackles does not dry up. I'm not certain that beyond Alaric Jacks, this roster has NFL-ready offensive tackles who can step in. While that could change over time, it seems as though the team would be well-served to extend Alarri Jackson and target a viable successor for Rob Havenstein in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Rams offensive line finally broke RB Kyren Williams loose for over 100 rushing yards in a game without the aid of IOL Coleman Shelton. But this offensive line has the potential to achieve so much more as long as everyone can stay healthy.
