The St. Louis Rams have lost Justin King for the 2008 NFL season. The Associated Press has reported he tore a ligament on his big toe, on his left foot during the Saturday night 34-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The toe injury will require season ending surgery and Justin will go on the IR. Scott Linehan said “He said it was just a fluke deal and said he got it trapped under a guy’s foot or stepped funny and rolled over it.” So now Justin is out for the year and the Rams already thin secondary is even thinner. The Rams also report that Jerome Carter suffered a strained groin against the Titans and is expected to miss some time. With Fakhir Brown and Oshiomogho Atogwe already hurt the Rams are in deep trouble in the secondary.

Justin King was the Rams fourth-round draft pick, and the 101st overall pick in the 2008 NFL draft. Justin King played cornerback at Penn State and was all Big Ten first-team in 2007.
