Brown A Star, Danario Getting Work

The Rams are still prepping for the San Diego Chargers this week, and it looks like Danario Alexander is getting more work with the offense and special teams. Alexander reportedly took some first-team snaps today at practice, and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said he is confident in Alexander’s knowledge of the offense. I’m still not expecting too much from him this weekend, but it’s starting to sound like the team might use him in a greater capacity than originally expected.

In some pop culture news, it appears Rams kicker Josh Brown has a cameo appearance in the upcoming Jackass 3D movie. I don’t know exactly what his role is, but I think it might be worth watching.

Injury Notes: Illini Mike was full-go again today, and it looks like he should be 100 percent come Sunday. With Mark Clayton done, the Rams are going to need some weapons to step up if they want to move the ball. After watching Mike in the preseason, I really think he has the potential to develop into a safety blanket for Sam Bradford. At any rate, it will be good to see him out there.

The game Sunday will be televised locally after the team sold out today, so if you can’t make it over to the Dome, tune in to KMOV channel 4 for the new start.
