Rams Hammered By Steelers

Sorry for the delay in posting, but my site was down yesterday and I have been busy with Christmas stuff today. Speaking of that, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Anyway, if you didn’t get to see the Rams and Steelers yesterday, don’t worry because you didn’t miss much. The Rams did nothing on offense once again and fell to Pittsburgh 27-0.

If there was anyone out there who was ready to annoint Kellen Clemens, he threw for less than 100 yards in the loss. The one bright spot was Steven Jackson, who looked good all day and moved over 1,000 yards for the seventh-consecutive season. If you really look at what SJ39 has done in his career as a Rams, you have to be immensely impressed. He has played on some terrible teams over the last seven years, so for him to go over 1k in all of those seasons is astounding.

I hear people complain about Steven all the time, but I don’t know what else you want from the guy. He is a class act, one of the hardest workers on the team and he never complains. He is a leader both by example and vocally when necessary, and he is one of the most consistent backs of the last decade. I don’t know how many good years he has left, but it’s a shame that the organization hasn’t been able to put a winner around him yet in his career.
