It is quite obvious now that the Rams are going to do whatever it takes to fill in the holes of what’s left of their offensive line. On Wednesday the Rams will be hosting former Buccaneers offensive guard Davin Joseph, however they did lose one of their own guards in Chris Williams to the Buffalo Bills.

oseph, was Tampa Bay’s first-round pick in 2006 and he went on to the Pro Bowl season that year to go along with another. However, he missed all of 2012 with a knee injury, and after returning in 2013, he was rated by Pro Football Focus as the second-worst guard in the league and in 2010, he was rated as the worst guard in the league.

Joseph is a player that the Rams are going to hope there’s something left in the tank, and they can still get something out of him. More than likely he will just be a depth player, unless he can get back to playing at a Pro Bowl level of course. Rams offensive line coach, Paul Boudreau, will certainly have his work cut out for him.

The Buffalo Bills also signed Rams offensive guard Chris Williams to a deal totaling $13.5 million with $5.5 million guaranteed. Williams started all 16 games for the Rams last season. The Rams could be looking to move on from Williams and bring back Shelley Smith instead. However, that could change as Smith is visiting with the Giants Wednesday and is reportedly visiting the Patriots Thursday

The draft is deep at offensive line, so if the Rams don’t sign any big name offensive lineman, they could be just fine replenishing through the draft.
