It’s official, after Les Snead said that it was a better 50% chance that the team signed Kenny Britt late last week, the Rams have signed the former Titans receiver according to Adam Schefter.

The Rams have needed a number one receiver for Sam Bradford, and although Britt might not not be that, he is a playmaker, and he is a low risk, high reward signing as he is only getting $550k guaranteed. Britt also adds depth to the wide receiver position and will bring competition come training camp.

Britt will be another former Titan to join Jeff Fisher in St. Louis along with Jared Cook, Cortland Finnegan, and Williams Hayes.

Britt has been pretty much nonexistent in Tennessee ever since Fisher left, as has only had 974 total receiving yards and seven touchdowns over the past three seasons combined. In his first two years Britt had 701 yards receiving and three touchdowns in 2009 and then had a career high 775 yards and nine touchdowns in 2010.

If Britt can get back to his old ways and stay out of trouble off the field while staying focused on the field, this signing could be well worth it.
