In Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, both St. Louis Rams wide receiver Brian Quick and left tackle Jake Long went down with injuries. It was feared that Long’s injury was a torn ACL, but many were uncertain of the severity of Quick’s injury.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortenson, both players will be done for the 2014 season.

The 2014 season just continues to get worse for the St. Louis Rams. After losing their starting quarterback against the Cleveland Browns in the preseason, the season has only gone downhill from there. The Rams started all rookies at cornerback on Sunday, and at one point the offensive line consisted of Mike Person, Barrett Jones, and Davin Joseph on the interior. 2014 has been injury plagued to say the least. The two players that you have to feel sorry for are Brian Quick who finally looked like the player that Les Snead has talked about and Greg Robinson who will be forced into a left tackle position that he may not be ready for. There are still nine weeks left of the NFL season, but for the St. Louis Rams and their fans, the season can’t get over fast enough. On the bright side, the NFL did move up the draft one week sooner than it was last year.
