Saturday the Senior Bowl took place which meant the stock of future NFL rookies rising and dropping. This was the last chance for the athletes to show what they have to offer in a game like setting. Until the draft takes place in May, everything will be skills tests in Pro Days and the Combine.

While I won’t put out my first full 32-team mock draft until mid-February, I will be doing player analysis and St. Louis Rams mock drafts until then.

Here is my St. Louis Rams three round mock draft post senior bowl:

Round 1: OT Brandon Scherff

The St. Louis Rams MUST beef up the offensive line this offseason. While there are questions on what the team will do with Jake Long and Joe Barksdale, taking a tackle in the first round should be a no-brainer.

The Rams drafted their left tackle of the future in Greg Robinson last year and given Long’s injury history the last two years it would make more sense to bring back Barksdale and cut Long to open up the cap space.

On the offensive line, the Rams are set at tackle with a big hole at guard. The good news is, both Mike Mayock and Todd McShay believe Scherff could be a stud NFL guard.

Scherff is a monster in the run game and would be a huge asset to the Rams offensive line.

Other options: Andreas Peat(OL), , Kevin White(WR), Bernardrick McKinney(LB)
