If it’s one player to keep an eye on this offseason for the Los Angeles Rams, it’s Nick Foles. After not having a desirable 2015, general manager Les Snead could look to move the quarterback through trade if not eventually release him. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there could be interest in Philadelphia.

This move actually makes sense. As Schefter points out, current Eagles coach, Doug Pederson, was the offensive coordinator in Philadelphia when the Eagles drafted Foles. The Rams quarterback fits the pocket-passer type quarterback that could work in Pederson’s offense.

With the Eagles not expected to give Sam Bradford the franchise tag, if he doesn’t sign an extension, this is certainly something to keep an eye on.

This is a move that would make sense for both sides especially with the Pederson connection. Foles would be presumable be cheaper than Bradford as there is little doubt that he will be looking to get top-10 quarterback type money in free agency.

The Rams also have named Case Keenum their starter going into 2016 meaning that paying Foles as much as they are doesn’t make a lot of sense. If they can somehow get rid of Foles it gives them more options at quarterback as then they would be able to draft somebody in the first round. If they do keep Foles, drafting a quarterback doesn’t make sense as then they would have four quarterbacks on the roster.

This could be interesting as the Eagles traded away Foles for Bradford just a season ago. The trade didnt go well for either side as Foles was benched halfway through the season and Bradford didnt thrive in Chip Kelly’s offense like many expected. Just one season after the quarterback swap, it looks like both teams are still looking for their franchise quarterback.
