The Los Angeles Rams have been quite entertaining through the first two episodes of Hard Knocks and without question, one of the funniest moments from the show has been defensive end William Hayes and his theory on mermaids.

On the first episode of the series, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher discussed how Hayes is totally convinced about mermaids existing and the potential of the team moving to Los Angeles because they would be closer to water–which is hilarious to think about.

While Hayes has every right to believe what he wants to believe, that didn’t stop one fan from making the defensive star’s day at practice by dressing up as a mermaid.

It’s always amazing to see fans get creative to show support for their favorite team, but how can anyone top dressing up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid like this fan? This image is simply amazing and seeing how happy it made Hayes just makes the moment even more special.

Hayes is entering his fifth season with the Rams and is coming off a 2015 season in which he started 11 of 16 games. The defense was a key factor behind the team’s 7-9 finish last year and hopefully Hayes will continue making an impact on the defensive line.

If the first two preseason games are any indication of what to expect, don’t be surprised if the Rams make another exciting comeback in the fourth quarter.
