Former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner has an interesting take on the league’s decision to put together training videos on celebrations.

Kurt Warner will always have a special place in the hearts of Los Angeles Rams fans for everything he accomplished with the team during his glory days in St. Louis, especially since he will officially be entered into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August. Recently, the NFL made the announcement how they would be putting together a training video for teams to determine what defines a proper celebration, and believe it or not, Warner had some interesting comments on the matter.

When considering the fact that Warner is currently part of the NFL Network crew, it seemed like only a matter of time before the former Rams quarterback chimed in on the matter. After being the leader of The Greatest Show on Turf, Warner was fortunate enough to be part of plenty of celebrations over the years in St. Louis, and he was right on the money when expressing his opinion on this so called celebration issues Roger Goodell is worried about for some reason.

Give Warner credit for bringing up a valid point since football is a team sport, and these kind of celebrations shouldn’t come down to an individual doing it on his own just to avoid the team receiving a penalty. At the end of the day, is it really that big of a deal if a few members of an NFL team get together following a big score for a little celebration?

There’s plenty of other important issues Goodell should be focusing on instead of putting together these videos, and Warner is spot on by pointing out celebrations should be performed as team instead of individually.
