As if the St. Louis Rams’ quarterback situation could not get any worse. As it turns out it can. According to Ian Rapoport the Rams may be without their backup now starting quarterback, Shaun Hill, this week against the Buccaneers as he has a strained quad.
#Rams may be without starting QB Shaun Hill on Sunday vs. the #Bucs. He has a strained quad & his status is in doubt. Know more Wed or Thurs

Hill went 8 for 13 for 81 yards and had an interception in his debut with the Rams before getting pulled after the first half due to the same quad injury. Hill was then replaced by quarterback Austin Davis who didnt fair much better.

With Hill possibly being out, the Rams will now have to either go with Davis, who saw his first NFL regular season action in his career, or newly signed and most likely unready, Case Keenum.
Ever since starting quarterback Sam Bradford went down, the Rams have found themselves in quite the quarterback carousel, and it just gets worse and worse. Coming from a Jeff Fisher squad, we would at least like expect this team to be somewhat competitive moving forward, especially after Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
As Rapoport reported, Hill is only in doubt, and has not been ruled out. We will no more on Wednesday and Thursday and will be sure to keep you updated.
