After showing flashes of playmaking ability at the end of last season and a preseason that included six catches, 87 yards, and a touchdown, fans grew more and more disappointed about the suspension.
However, for the first time all season, the Rams have finally received some good news. With the NFL Players Association voting in favor of a new drug policy, wide receiver Stedman Bailey could return to the field as early as Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This is obviously great news for the Rams as Bailey has become one of the better receivers in the Rams’ receiving corps. Bailey lead Rams wide receivers in receiving yards in the final five games of the season last year with 155 yards and even scored a touchdown against the team the Rams play this week, the Buccaneers.
Shaun Hill and Bailey had some good chemistry in the preseason, and with the news of the Rams’ second round receiver possibly being able to suit up on Sunday, it will be interesting to see if Hill also suits up despite his thigh injury.
