The St. Louis Rams follow up last weeks dramatic 19-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home against the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams and Cowboys will play on FOX at 12:00 CT at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. The game will be announced by Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa.
The Rams will be looking to win their second game in a row by getting their first home win of the season as well as go into the bye on a high note. The Cowboys on the other hand will be looking to keep pace with the red hot Philadelphia Eagles.
Injury Report
St. Louis Rams
CB Trumaine Johnson(Knee)- DNP- Out
C Barrett Jones(Back)- DNP- Out
QB Shaun Hill(Thigh)- Limited- Questionable
WR Tavon Austin(Knee)- Limited- Questionable
TE Cody Harkey(Knee)- Limited- Questionable
CB Brandon McGee(Foot)- DNP- Out
C Sott Wells(Non-Injury Related)- Full- Probable
G Rodger Saffold(Illness)- Full- Probable
Jeff Fisher has said many times this week that Shaun Hill will be a game time decision, but it would not be surprising if Austin Davis got his second start in as many weeks. Tavon Austin is limited as questionable, but it’s probably more likely that Stedman Bailey replaces Austin in the lineup this week.

DE George Selvie( Shoulder)- Full- Probable
DE Anthony Spencer(Knee)- DNP- Out
Dez Bryant is listed as questionable, but he said earlier this week that he is ready to roll, and although Romo didnt practice on Wednesday, he was full Thursday and Friday, unfortunately the Rams won’t be going up against a third backup-calliber quarterback in as many weeks.
Players To Watch: Austin Davis and DeMarco Murray
If Austin Davis makes his second career start in as many weeks, it will be interesting to see how he handles the game and if he gained confidence after last week’s win. The team really rallied around Davis and if they want to get a win against the Cowboys, they will have to do so once again.
For the Cowboys watch out for DeMarco Murray. Murray has rushed for 150+ yards in his last two meetings against the Rams. If the Rams want to win, they will have to stop Murray.
Matchup to Watch: Rams Defensive Line vs Cowboys Offensive Line
Tony Romo is the second most sacked quarterback in the NFL as he has been sacked seven times this season. “Sack City” has been pretty quiet all season. A game at home against the Cowboys may be exactly what they need to go off.
Last Meeting: Rams 7 Cowboys 34
These two teams played in Dallas last season with the Cowboys getting the big win. DeMarco Murray rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown and Romo threw for three more. The Rams lone touchdown came from a Sam Bradford throw to Austin Pettis in the third quarter.
Prediction: Rams 13 Cowboys 31
Although I do believe this is a close game throughout the first half, the Rams haven’t shown that they have been able to stop the run this season. DeMarco Murray breaks a big run in the second half to help the Cowboys pull away from the Rams.
