Start ‘Em
Brian Quick: The 49ers have a good pass defense, but Quick has been a favorite target of Austin Davis and has put up good numbers all season. The 49ers will be a big test for the Rams offense, but I would still expect Quick to get his catches.
Frank Gore: Although Gore had a slow start, he seems to be back on track as he has had back to back 100-yard games. Although the Rams faired better against McCoy and the Eagles last week, they still are toward the bottom of the league in rushing yards per game and if its one thing the 49ers like to do it’s run the football. Gore has a touchdown in his last four games against the Rams and rushed for 195 yards in two meetings last season. Gore is a good start.

Anquan Boldin: If it’s one player that the Rams simply could not stop last season, it’s Boldin. The Rams may have the number one pass defense, but Boldin seems to have his way with the Rams. Boldin had 90 yards or more in two meetings against the Rams last season and is the 49ers leading receiver, he’s a good option this week.
49ers Defense: Austin Davis is making just his fourth career start and has yet to see anything like what he is about to see with the San Francisco 49ers defense. As a Rams fan I hope Davis has a good game, but last season the 49ers dominated the Rams up front causing problems for the offense and I just don’t see that changing this time around either. The 49ers are near the top of the league in turnovers while the Rams have turned the ball over eight times this season.
