New England Patriots

I got nothing. Absolutely nothing. However, I will still try to make a case why you should cheer for the New England Patriots.

The Patriots may have cheated the Rams out of a Super Bowl with spygate and paying the referees not to call illegal contact the entire game(not really), however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t cheer for them.

After all, they are playing the Seattle Seahawks, the St. Louis Rams’ rival.  The same Seahawks  with Richard Sherman and “You didnt believe in us” Doug Baldwin. It simply doesn’t seem right to cheer for the Seahawks. Cheering for the Seahawks is completely against the St. Louis Rams fan code.

With the Patriots you have Tom Brady and Bill Belichick trying to cement themselves as the greatest coach-quarterback duo in NFL history. Like them or not, they are future Hall of Famers.

Brady will be playing in his sixth Super Bowl, and will be going for his fourth Super Bowl victory and become only the second quarterback to do so. While cheering for the Patriots may not seem very likable, you can at least cheer for greatness and for a player and coach to cement themselves in NFL history.
