Option 1

Option one is going to be the keep things simple option and only making slight adjustments. This would be a very disappointing option as it would show that Jeff Fisher and Les Snead did absolutely nothing to make improvements to a big position of need.

In this situation the Rams are going to stick with what they have. This will also be assuming that they bring back Joe Barksdale and Jake Long on a re-structured deal.

A lot of what the Rams do on the offensive line this offseason will lie with what happens with Barksdale. The right tackle has proven to be a stud right tackle when not playing alongside Davin Joseph and Fisher has stated that he believes Long could move inside to guard and that Robinson is the left tackle of the future.

Given that Scott Wells had a rough season last year, we are also going to say that Fisher will give Barrett Jones a chance to start in 2015. The former Alabama center was a 4th round draft choice in 2012 and has been red-shirted the last two seasons.

If the Rams take this route, the offensive line could look something like this:

RT- Joe Barksdale

RG- Jake Long

C- Barrett Jones

LG- Rodger Saffold

LT- Greg Robinson

Obviously this would not be ideal, but if the Rams decide to fill other needs or are unable to get a good replacement in free agency, this is what they will be left with. This could get them by if injuries dont interfere(unlikely), but in the long run it would cause them problems. If they want to keep Sam Bradford upright, this would not be the way to do it.
