Todd Gurley Needs To Stay Hot
When The Rams selected Todd Gurley with the 10th pick in the NFL Draft, some fans were confused. Why pick another running back when Tre Mason showed he can be the Rams every down back? All of those questions have been answered.
The last two games for Gurley have accumulated 305-rushing yards with an average of 6.2 yards a carry. Gurley is exactly what the Rams needed as they lack a true playmaker on offense. Gurley has the ability to run and open up a passing game for Foles and the offense in play-action.
The Rams have played two undefeated teams the last two weeks and Todd Gurley ran all over them. Gurley can run, and also block very well in pass protection. There was a point in the game against the Packers where Clay Matthews came on a blitz toward Gurley, that ended with Gurley picking up Matthews and throwing him to the ground. Gurley is on a whole new level, if he continues to rush and be the best power back for the Rams, good things will come for St. Louis.
