Safety T.J. McDonald as the only player that didn’t make any progress on the report. In fact, McDonald slipped a little in his recovery from a foot injury. Listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, McDonald was listed as a non-participant on Thursday. McDonald played through a shoulder injury last week against San Francisco.

Along with McDonald, defensive end Chris Long (knee), defensive end Robert Quinn (knee), defensive end William Hayes (thigh), running back Chase Reynolds (thigh) and offensive tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) were all listed as non-participants.

Running back Tre Mason (ankle) was the only player on the injury report listed as a limited participant. Mason has 95 rushing yards on the season playing the role of primary back up since Gurley’s introduction into the offense.

Quinn, Hayes, McDonald and Reynolds were all listed on the injury report heading into the Week 8 matchup against the 49ers, but did not see a reduction in snaps. Mason was also listed and provided relief at times for running back Todd Gurley. Havenstein is the lone new player to be included on the injury report.

Week 9 see the Rams travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in what could be a pivotal game in terms of playoff seeding. Minnesota, a surprising 5-2, started slow, but the resurgence of Adrian Peterson and the warming of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater have lead to a recent surge for the team.

The Vikings are looking to extend their current three-game winning streak, which includes victories against the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. While St. Louis is looking to add to their first set of consecutive wins in 2015, the race to 10 wins is on because that’s the price of admission as a wild card team in the 2015 postseason.
