The Ravens are currently sitting with a (2-7) record after their controversial loss to the Jaguars last week which pretty much closed the door for any type of playoff chances. For the Rams they damaged their playoff hopes by missing a winnable opportunity last week against the Bears.
On paper, this favors the Rams, yet that never means anything anymore because of how the Rams perform from week to week. Rams currently have a 3-0 record in their division, yet have trouble winning outside their own division. There are several factors to this matchup, as the main one is the new quarterback under center for the Rams.
Case Keenum is now under center, as Fisher is hoping he can spark this offense again. With a new quarterback under center it could open the door for running back Todd Gurley. However the Ravens rush defense is ranked 10th in the NFL, and will be ready for Gurley. This means Keenum and Tavon Austin must connect early and get the passing game going.

For the Ravens, they hit probably one of the un-luckiest seasons so far. Each loss for Baltimore has come within one score and majority of each loss has come in not closing out the 4th quarter. The defense has stepped up in recent games, as the Ravens are hoping to find an offensive explosive from Joe Flacco and company.
However if the Ravens are hoping for a huge game from Flacco, they might want to have a backup plan. The Rams pass defense is currently the second best in the NFL, and sixth overall in total defense. St. Louis’ defense is no joke at all, and could cause problems for the Ravens offense.
The Ravens have a decent shot at winning this game, with the home crowd behind them, yet with how bad the season has gone for them, the Rams should be able to take it in Baltimore. New change and quarterback could spark something for the Rams against a Baltimore team that is playing poor football. Will the Rams keep falling apart? or will they try to turn their season around?
