Conclusion

This four-game losing streak is the longest the Rams have endured since Jeff Fisher was hired as head coach. The players, coaches, and fans are completely demoralized heading into Week 13. Many people have already given up on the “same old sorry Rams”. But as much as we want to draft a brand new franchise quarterback next year to replace the lackluster incumbent Nick Foles, it doesn’t look possible.

Unless lower ranked teams in the NFL improve significantly, the team will inevitably miss out on Lynch and Goff. The Rams could draft Connor Cook and develop him along with Sean Mannion. They could even draft a quarterback later in the draft such as Cardale Jones of Ohio State or Christian Hackenberg of Penn State. Both have NFL-ready bodies and arms, but both need to prove a lot more to scouts for serious second round consideration.

This isn’t the year to tank. The St. Louis Rams need to win as many games as possible these upcoming weeks in order to develop the young roster they have. If Brian Quick and Kenny Britt don’t appear to be clear No. 1 receivers, then grab a receiver in the first round. If the offensive line continues to struggle in pass protection, then bolster it up. But for now, the Rams need to see what kind of heart this team has in a time of great adversity.

This a season where Nick Foles led the St. Louis Rams to an upset over the Seattle Seahawks but got manhandled by the likes of the Washington Redskins, the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Bears, and the Cincinnati Bengals. You’re on the hot seat, Jeff Fisher. Let’s start winning some damn football games.

The Arizona Cardinals (9-2) will be traveling to the Edward Jones Dome this Sunday for revenge against the St. Louis Rams (4-7) who had beaten them back in Week 4. Whereas the Rams are looking to snap a four-game losing streak, the Cardinals are riding on a five game winning streak. Do you think the Rams should tank? Leave a comment below!
