Laquon Treadwell – WR – Ole Miss

Treadwell is hands down the best player at his position in the 2016 NFL Draft. A junior at Ole Miss, Treadwell has the size (6’ 2”) and weight (210 lbs.) to compete at the next level. He has the ability to go up and get the ball at it’s highest point making him almost impossible to cover downfield. A knee injury in 2014 shortened his season and left a little bit of doubt in the minds of analysts, but it seems any ill effects of the injury have been avoided. Treadwell compares very well to Dallas Cowboy’s wide out Dez Bryant. He’s a mismatch against almost every team and will be a plug-and-play candidate as a rookie.

Michael Thomas – WR – Ohio State

Thomas, like Treadwell, is gifted athletically and brings the right size and weight to the table (6’3”, 210 lbs.) Thomas projects to be more of a threat over the middle than he does down the sidelines, but should still be a first-round selection. Coming from the explosive offense of Ohio State, it’s a little surprising Thomas has not garnered more attention, but is clearly a very skilled player. In 2014 Thomas started 14 of 15 games for the Buckeyes and caught 54 passes for 799-yards. He added nine touchdowns to lead the team.
