The St. Louis Rams took things easy on Monday with a walk through in preparation for Thursday’s home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and early indications are that rookie running back Todd Gurley will be just fine after a knee injury suffer against Detroit on Sunday.

Gurley exited Sunday’s victory against the Detroit Lions with an apparent left knee injury. The injury did not appear to serious, but still let out a few gasps from the home crowd. Gurley was upbeat about the whole thing after the game and even though he was a non-participant in Monday’s practice session he was officially listed as out for “rest.”

That’s great news for St. Louis. The Rams are 4-1 in games where Gurley has rushed for at least 100-yards. They are 1-7 in contests when he has failed to reach the century mark. St. Louis does not have another running back on the roster that has reached the 100-yard mark this season.

The Rams are still holding off on placing injured defensive end Robert Quinn on the injury report after back surgery ended his 2015 campaign. He was also listed as a non-participant.

Offensive lineman Andrew Donnal (knee) and defensive back Eric Patterson (ankle) were also listed as non-participants.

All eyes will be on starting cornerback Janoris Jenkins during the short week. Jenkins sat out the game against the Lions after failing to make it through the leagues concussion protocol. Jenkins is reportedly making progress, but will likely be a game day decision for the matchup against Tampa Bay. Jenkins was injured after two separate collisions with teammates two weeks ago against the Arizona Cardinals.

Non-Participants: DE Robert Quinn (back), OL Andrew Donnal (knee) and CB Eric Patterson (ankle)

Limited Participants: RB Todd Gurley (rest), WR Kenny Britt (shoulder), OT Rob Havenstein (calf) and Janoris Jenkins (concussion)
