Every Monday until the draft will be “NFL Mock Draft Monday” here on Ramblin’ Fan. Every Monday we will have a round up of who the Los Angeles Rams are taking around the web as well as at least a first round Rams mock draft of our own. We have already done our own mock draft for today in which we had the Rams finding their franchise quarterback. Now, we’ll take you around the web to find out who the Rams are taking in the 2016 NFL Draft.

SB Nation – Memphis QB, Paxton Lynch

“A new beginning for the Rams in Los Angeles could get off to a fresh start by drafting a quarterback in the first round. That would give the Rams Lynch and running back Todd Gurley as key pieces on a rebuilding offense for years to come.” -Dan Kadar

Bleacher Report, Ryan McCrystal- Baylor WR, Corey Coleman

Niner Nation, Greg Valerio and Jake Narayan- Memphis QB, Paxton Lynch

NFL Mocks – North Dakota State QB, Carson Wentz

“The Rams make the big move of the 2016 Draft, trading all the way up to sixth overall to select their quarterback of the future. The Rams are desperate at the position and know that this select could go a long way in helping them get into the playoffs. Wentz sports a strong arm and good accuracy, while displaying the athleticism to escape pressure and extend plays.” -Brady Lunt

Walter Football – Baylor DT, Andrew Billings

“This may seem like a weird pick, given that the Rams have Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers starting at defensive tackle, but they’ve shown that they’re willing to take the best player available if he happens to be a very talented defensive lineman. That happens to be the case here, as Andrew Billings could easily be chosen in the top 10. Besides, Nick Fairley is an impending free agent, while Michael Brockers’ contract will expire after this season.” -Charlie Campbell

Around the web it looks like many sites have the Rams taking their next franchise quarterback and there’s no question that they need it. It became clear last season that Nick Foles and Case Keenum were no the answer. Hopefully, by taking Lynch or Wentz, the Rams will have found their quarterback of the future.
