At this point, the Los Angeles Rams are more concerned over the whereabouts of Tre Mason and not so much football.

All of the news surrounding Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason lately has been a major reason for concern as nobody–not even family members–seems to know where the former Auburn star even is.

When Mason wasn’t present at Rams’ camp over the weekend, Jeff Fisher made it clear how the running back hasn’t communicated with the team despite numerous attempts. Even ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Adam Caplan discussed this week how it’s been seven months since the team has heard from Mason and not even family members or his agent, Bus Cook, can provide details of his current whereabouts.

Forget everything about how the Rams would be just fine without Mason on the roster between the emergence of Todd Gurley along with the fact that Mason averaged just 2.8 yards per carry in 2015. At this point, it’s not even about football as the main concern for Los Angeles is the safety of their running back and that Mason gets the help he clearly needs to turn his life around.

Not only was Mason recently admitted for evaluation after another incident involving police, but the police have reportedly been called to his house five times since March. For now, the Rams have placed Mason on the team’s Reserved/Did Not Report list and here’s to hoping the running back’s whereabouts are soon discovered so the rest of the world knows he is safe.
