4. Atlanta Falcons 4-2 (3)

The argument can be made that Julio Jones was robbed on the final play of offense for the Atlanta Falcons against the Seattle Seahawks when considering it looked like Richard Sherman got away with a clear hold. With that being said, the last thing the Falcons can afford to do is let this loss get in their heads as Matt Ryan and company should feel even more confident about being one of the top teams in the NFC.

When considering how tough of an environment Seattle can be, Ryan should be thrilled for his three-touchdown performance against one of the league’s top defenses as Atlanta suffered a 26-24 loss, which marks the first time this team has been defeated since opening weekend. Thanks to the strong play of Ryan, the Falcons have emerged as one of the hottest teams in the NFC, despite their four-game losing streak coming to an end on Sunday.

And thanks to the collapse of the Panthers, the NFC South is the Falcons to lose at this point in the season as they still have a comfortable lead.

The defense seemed to be a concern for Atlanta over the first four games, but it’s amazing to see how well this squad has looked over their last two games against Denver and Seattle. As long as this team continues to play well on both sides of the football, the Falcons will be one of the top teams to beat in the NFC.
