1. Minnesota Vikings 5-0 (1)

The good news for the Minnesota Vikings is this team will still be the only undefeated team left in the NFL heading into Week 7 due to the fact they had a bye this weekend.

At 5-0, the Vikings have been one of the biggest surprises in 2016 when looking at all of the challenges this team has overcome at numerous positions. It was one thing to lose Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson, but for the Vikings to dominate the way they did against the Texans in Week 5 while playing without Stefon Diggs shows just how talented this team is.

To top it off, Minnesota has found ways to win games with Sam Bradford–who was acquired right before the start of the regular season–running the offense as the quarterback has never looked this comfortable throughout his career. As much credit as Bradford deserves, the defense has clearly been the main reason behind the team’s hot start.

The fact that Minnesota has yet to allow an opponent score more than 16 points in a game this year shows just how dangerous this defensive unit can be. They still have a long way to go, but don’t be surprised if Mike Zimmer‘s defense ends up setting numerous records at this rate.
