29.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-3 (27)

Against all odds, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers found a way to come up on the winning end while playing on the road in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers. Obviously, this game would most likely have turned out much different with Cam Newton in the lineup, but when looking at how this season has been, the Buccaneers will take anything they can get at this point.

At the beginning of the season, Tampa Bay was considered one of the top teams to keep an eye on in the NFC when it comes to being a potential sleeper to make a playoff run, mainly because of Jameis Winston. After an impressive rookie season in 2015, the second year quarterback set the bar high during the offseason by shedding close to 20 pounds, but things haven’t gone according to play for the Buccaneers since an impressive opening weekend against the Atlanta Falcons.

The win against the Panthers in the national spotlight was nice, but this team still has a long way to go when it comes to living up to their potential on offense. Not having Doug Martin in the backfield has obviously been a major blow for this offense over the last few weeks, but it’s up to Winston to help Tampa Bay find a way to be more consistent on offense following the bye week.
