2016 NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Los Angeles Rams Fall After Loss to Detroit Lions

26. Cincinnati Bengals 2-4 (19)
The frustration continues to pile up for the Cincinnati Bengals as this team has been tested numerous times against some of the best teams in the AFC, only to end up disappointing each time. When looking at this team’s inability to win in the playoffs, all signs point to the Bengals not having to worry about that problem this year as there’s a chance they may not even make the postseason with the way their season is turning out.
Obviously, a road matchup against the New England Patriots during Tom Brady‘s first home game of the season is never an easy task to deal with, but Cincinnati seemed to be up for the challenge when considering they established an early lead in the third quarter before falling apart. In order to be the best, a team has to challenge the best, and the Bengals just don’t seem to be on the same level as the rest of the contenders in their conference.
If Marvin Lewis and company can’t figure out a way to get things going, this team is going to have a difficult time with keeping their impressive streak of playoff appearances alive. For a team with high expectations prior to the start of the regular season, Cincinnati has turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of 2016.
