2016 NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Los Angeles Rams Fall After Loss to Detroit Lions

25. Miami Dolphins 2-4 (30)
How many suicide pools did the Miami Dolphins mess up with their win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday?
With the way the Dolphins have looked over the last couple of weeks, there wasn’t much hope for this team heading into Sunday’s game when considering the high-powered offense of the Steelers. However, Miami’s defense played their best game of the season by applying all sorts of pressure to Ben Roethlisberger while limiting the quarterback to just one touchdown pass.
Ryan Tannehill has received every bit of criticism for his poor play on offense this season, and even though he failed to find the end zone, the quarterback deserves some credit for doing just enough to help the Dolphins pick up their second win of the season. Of course, the real story for Miami’s offense was the 204 rushing yards with two touchdowns displayed by Jay Ajai in the ground game when considering he hadn’t recorded more than 42 rushing yards prior to Sunday.
So does this mean it’s time to start believing in the Dolphins? Unfortunately, not yet as this team still has plenty to prove as this was only one game, but hopefully this will boost Miami’s confidence with their next two games being played at home.
